OUR VISION
Nile Trail is a project of Sabeel Al Neel Association, an NGO based in Luxor, Egypt.
The Trail is an idea inspired from Egypt’s long history. People dwelled on the Nile for thousands of years. Civilizations were born on its river banks leaving their mark on the history of mankind.
Invaders came and went, each leaving its mark and taking some traditions along with them.
The Nile Trail is the embodiment of these thousands of years of rich history.
The route will explore ancient temples and modern culture. Along the Nile Trail you will meet people of different backgrounds, cultures and even religions.
The Nile Trail is an idea that is being developed by Sabeel Al Neel Association.

Develop and maintain Nile Trail footpath.
Improve livelihood of the community living along the Nile Trail.
Promote local & hand crafts of the community on either banks of the Nile.
Promote responsible tourism practices.
Promote Nile Trail as an Ecotourism destination.
Promote local tourism for Egyptians to explore their own country's ancient history and countryside.
